Match Report (22-3-09)
At last, a home game and a hint of Summer as well. Add that to a fine overall performance from the lads and it turned out to be a good day at the office against a decent team from Hawarden.
There is still work to be done in certain area's but I think the guys are improving in every game, and because we only have a small squad of players, in a way this has been to our advantage due to the fact that they are playing together on a regular basis. Although this could come back to haunt us if we run out of stamina towards the end of the season.
Well done everyone, fantastic effort as always...
P.S. The Ref was a bit 'Dodgy' though....

FUND RAISING
The more people that come, the more money we raise, the more money we raise the more tournaments we can enter, and the more we can pay the cheerleaders! ;-)
If in any doubt Elaine has all the details.

Sunday's Game (8-03-09)
Hi Everyone,
A big well done to Players and Parents for braving the evil conditions which we endured during our games against the two teams from
Unfortunately, after witnessing probably our best performance in our previous game at Connah's Quay, I then witnessed probably our worst performance against
Although I take responsibility for the performance, one of the contributing factors was that I had requests from a couple of the players to play in position's they are not familiar with, which in turn forces other players into position's they are also not familiar with.
I have no problem with this principle because it is still all about development at this stage but, it did highlight our weakness's against a very good squad from Buckley and the results spoke for themselves. Having said that, the lads seemed to still enjoy it .(come back Steve, all is forgiven).
On that note, Steve attended a goalkeeping course on Sunday, so now we have a specialist in that department (Watch out Gethin!!)
See you all at Training
Mark..
