Match Report (Flint & Bagillt Colts 7-2-10)

Hi Everyone,

Well, our unbeaten two game winning streak has come to an end, and with it our new found passing game and teamwork. Unfortunately, we resembled an Everton side in the 'other' derby, the previous day. We just didn't show the desire to win and the ability to out think the opposition in order to take the game. In the opening exchanges we went a goal down and to the lads credit they managed to pull it back to leave us all square at the first interval. After this though, we were always on the back foot. I think some fitness training is called for.

Congratulations to the Colts, they played some good football, well done!!

See you at Training

Mynydd Isa Match (Sunday 24-01-10)

Hi Everyone,

Well we managed to avenge our defeat to Mynydd Isa in late 2009 with a brilliant 'Team' performance from the boys, something to which we have added to our footballing of late.
It was a very close match in all honesty with a good performance from their boys as well.
Our performance was all the more pleasing given that we where carrying a few minor injuries on the day, but you wouldn't of noticed as they all wanted to be part of the action.
As it was the first game this year we were still (dare I say it) feeling the effects of the excess Christmas fayre with a few red faces and 'lead like' legs out there, but the boys continued until the final whistle.

Nevertheless, we will have to be at our very best for our next fixture, yes it's the 'Old Firm' Clash again (that's come around quick) We will be up for it though.

Well Done guys...
Mark.

Happy New Year!!

Happy New year to you all,

Sorry this is a bit late, (Computer problems and all) this year has got off to a very poor start with the weather decimating our fixtures and training sessions. We are not alone, it happens to the best of them with many Premeirship and league games also called off with what has been the worst winter that I can remember (I'm only young)

So, after the 'big thaw' this weekend we should be back to normal this Tuesday for training and then see if we can re-arrange a game or two.

Thanks for your pateince
Mark
